The age of the animals was between one and eleven years old. Clinical evaluation revealed foot disorders in those animals. A portatil radiographic machine was used in order to take radiographs at the farm. Osteomyelitis of the claw accounted for 48 % (14/29); interdigital abscess, 21 % (6/29); degenerative arthritis 10 % (3/29); fracture of the hoof wall 4 % (1/29): and osteomyelitis together with other lesions, 17 % (5/29). The incidence of foot diseases was higher for animals that were between four and seven years old (48 %, 14/29), 31 % (9/29) for animals that were between one and three years old and 21% (6/29) for animals that were between eight and eleven years old.
